This is our first holiday on the mighty River Danube and we are concentrating on the Northern section which is much more interesting that down by the Black Sea. After an early pick up we cross the channel and head for our overnight stop (Lunch and Dinner not included) before continuing to Linz in Austria where Esmeralda will be waiting for us. Our cruise will take in the beautiful city of Vienna Capital of Austria, stunning Budapest Capital of Hungary, fabulous Bratislava Capital of Slovakia , Durnstein, & Melk. We then travel back to Linz where we disembark and return home. Meals not included on return journey.

Mps Esmeralda is a large modern ship with a wonderful main lounge with huge viewing windows an elegant restaurant serving great food and comfortable bar area. Her cabins like all river ships are on the small side however the biggest asset to the ship are her wonderfully friendly crew. The crew and on board management really make Esmeralda a home from home. This is a Holiday to remember a fabulous 5 Night Cruise on the 4*plus Mps Amethyst. After a Channel crossing we head to our Hotel for an overnight hotel (Min 3* and on a bed and breakfast basis). After breakfast we head to Passau and join the Mps Amethist, (Full Board on the ship). Our Cruise takes us to some amazing ports including Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava and Wachau before returning to Passau and our disembarkation, ready for the journey to our overnight hotel (Hotel min 3* on a bed and breakfast basis). Final day sees us crossing the channel and the final leg of the journey home. This Holiday is a touch of luxury and a great way to see the upper reaches of the beautiful Danube!!!
Mps Amethyst
The Mps Amethyst is a very modern 4*Plus vessel owned and operated by the DSC Group, Her cabins are spread over three decks and prices vary accordingly. Lower deck cabins have a medium sized window however all cabins on the middle and upper decks have Juliet balconies. The ship is contemporarily decorated to a very high standard, the elegant dining room offers excellent cuisine and the panoramic lounge/bar features occasional entertainment.
